So is it that simple?
Yes, but you need to take the first step to get involved, which means to buy a small position. You can either buy it as an ETF or through a robo advisor. In fact, I do still throw leftover change into an ETF whenever it pulls back, or in markets that I am not particularly familiar (like the European market for me).
What’s the Catch?
There will be periods where it pulls back and be in loss. It will be an unrealised loss, but the key is to hold it in through the ups and downs. It can sometimes feel really shitty, but remind yourself with this picture.
